50 ohm Termination

The 50 ohm Termination component has constant impedance over frequency.  Electrically, the 50 ohm Termination behaves as an Ideal Resistor.

The 50 ohm Termination is available as a Shunt component only.

To calculate and graph the impedance of the 50 ohm Termination over the frequency range selected on the Frequency Range form, click the Graph button on the Component Library form toolbar or select menu Tools | Graph.

To change the 50 ohm Termination value (in which case it is no longer a 50 ohm termination), select the present value, enter the desired value, and click the OK button.  When the OK button is clicked the 50 ohm Termination is placed on the schematic diagram.  If the Close button is clicked the Component Library form closes with no changes to the schematic diagram.
