Add component

A component is added to a stage by changing a Placeholder Component to another component type.

To add a component, do one of the following:

Double click the Placeholder Component that occupies the location where the new component is to be placed.

Right-click the Placeholder Component and then select Edit from the pop-up menu.

Select the Placeholder Component by clicking it and then select menu Edit | Edit.

The Component Library form will open, displaying the currently selected component.  Select the desired component from the Component Library and set values as desired.  When the Component Library form is closed the selected component will be placed on the schematic at the location of the previously selected Placeholder component.
