CE Analyst Model Description
CE Analyst performs calculations by evaluating a conducted emissions model over a
range of frequencies specified by the user. The conducted emissions model
is comprised of four major components:

The Source models the current and voltage
characteristics of the active circuit that is the source of conducted emissions
to be analyzed.
The Filter models components that exist
between the Source and the Conductors. Typically Filter components
are intentionally added to the circuit to attenuate conducted emissions produced
by the Source. Filter components may be lumped circuit
elements, such as resistors, inductors,and capacitors, as well as printed wiring
board traces and circuit wiring.
The Conductors are electrical cabling that
connects the Filter to the Load. Conductors may be a variety of configurations
consisting of circular conductors, ground planes, and shields.
The Load models electrical circuitry that is
connected to the Conductors. Loads are
comprised of passive circuit components and printed wiring board traces. More:
