CE Limit
The CE Limit module provides a means by which to compare
calculated levels to a conducted
emissions limit. A limit is defined by entering frequency/amplitude pairs
in tabular format. A graph of the limit is generated automatically.
At the completion of a CE analysis this graph can be overlaid on the conducted
emissions graph for comparison.

Conducted emissions limits are specified by regulatory
agencies, e.g. the FCC in the United States or CENELEC for the European Union,
or by the procuring agency in the case of military equipment. Refer to
applicable conducted emissions requirements for your equipment to determine the
frequency/amplitude values to enter.
The CE Limit is not used in the calculation of conducted
emissions. It is only used for comparison to calculated values at the
completion of a CE analysis. It is not necessary to define a limit in
order to perform a CE analysis. Once the limit information has been
entered the status bar beneath the
button on the CE Analyst form is changed from red to green.
