Conductor Conductance

The Conductance text box displays conductance for the conductors shown in the Characteristic Impedance list box.

Conductance is a function of numerous parameters, including proximity to other conductors or conductive surfaces.  Thus, conductance for equivalent conductor geometries may differ significantly from one configuration to another.  For example, a circular wire pair in free space will have different conductance than a circular wire pair over a ground plane, even if the diameters and spacing of the conductors are the same.

Conductance is read-only.
