Conductor Inductance
The Inductance text box displays inductance for the shown in the Characteristic Impedance list
box.
Inductance is a function of numerous parameters, including
proximity to other conductors or conductive surfaces. Thus, inductance for
equivalent conductor geometries may differ significantly from one configuration
to another. For example, a circular wire pair in free space will have
different inductance than a circular wire pair over a ground plane, even if the
diameters and spacing of the conductors are the same.
