CS Left-Hand Circuit

The CS Left-Hand Circuit module models passive circuit components that are connected to the left-hand end of the Conductors.  Circuit components may include elements for EMI filters, wiring, printed circuits, and the radio frequency impedance of semiconductors.

Circuits are synthesized using the Left-Hand Circuit module schematic capture by placing components selected from the Component Library on a schematic diagram.  Components include resistors, capacitors, inductors, ferrites, coupled inductors, transformers, and standard impedance networks.  Element values for each component and the placement of components in the schematic diagram are determined by the user.

The left-hand circuit schematic diagram is a ladder network configuration that provides for differential mode and common mode components.  The left-hand circuit schematic diagram has terminals on its right-hand side where the circuit connects to the conductors

Once the left-hand circuit impedance has been calculated the status bar beneath the Left-Hand button on the CS Analyst form is changed from red to green.
