Delete a component

A component is deleted from the schematic by replacing it with a Placeholder Component.  If the component is a shunt component it will be replaced with an open circuit Placeholder Component.  If the component is a series component it will be replaced with a short circuit Placeholder Component.

To delete a component, do one of the following:

Right-click the Component and then select Delete from the pop-up menu.

Select the Component by clicking it and then select menu Edit | Delete.
