Feed-Through Capacitor
The Feed-Through Capacitor component impedance is inversely
proportional to frequency, decreasing with increasing frequency for all
frequencies. Electrically, the Feed-Through Capacitor behaves as an Ideal
Capacitor.
The Feed-Through Capacitor m is available as a Shunt
component only.
To calculate and graph the impedance of the Feed-Through
Capacitor component over the frequency range selected on the Frequency Range form, click the Graph button on the
Component Library form toolbar or select menu Tools | Graph.
To change the Feed-Through Capacitor value, select the
present value, enter the desired value, and click the OK button.
When the OK button is clicked the Feed-Through Capacitor is placed on the
schematic diagram. If the Close button is clicked the Component
Library form closes with no changes to the schematic diagram.
