Field Illumination Angles
Field illumination angles for the RS form are defined relative to x-, y-, and z-axes
defined as follows:
The x-axis is horizontal on the plane of the form. A
value of 0-degrees for Rotation about X-axis corresponds to the incident wave
traveling in a direction parallel to the ground plane.
The y-axis is vertical on the plane of the form. A
value of 0-degrees for Rotation about Y-axis corresponds to the incident wave
traveling in a direction perpendicular to the .
The z-axis is orthogonal to the plane of the form.
Relative to the setup diagram on the RS Source form, the z-axis follows the
perspective from lower-left to upper-right.
Three preset field directions are available from the
Tools menu: Broadside, End Fire, and Side Fire. More:
