Ideal Inductor
The Ideal Inductor component impedance is proportional to
frequency. The Ideal Inductor impedance increases with increasing
frequency for all frequencies.
The Ideal Inductor may be either a Series component or a
Shunt component.
To calculate and graph the impedance of the Ideal Inductor
component over the frequency range selected on the Frequency
Range form, click the Graph button on the Component Library form
toolbar or select menu Tools | Graph.
To change the Ideal Inductor value, select the present
value, enter the desired value, and click the OK button. When the
OK button is clicked the Ideal Capacitor is placed on the schematic
diagram. If the Close button is clicked the Component Library form
closes with no changes to the schematic diagram.
