Inductor
The Inductor component impedance varies as a function of
frequency. The Inductor model provides for parasitic elements common to
physical inductors, including winding resistance or equivalent series resistance
(ESR) and stray capacitance (Stray C) across the inductor.
The Inductor may be either a Series component or a Shunt
component.
To calculate and graph the impedance of the Inductor
component over the frequency range selected on the Frequency
Range form, click the Graph button on the Component Library form
toolbar or select menu Tools | Graph.
To change an Inductor element value, select the present
value, enter the desired value, and click the OK button. When the
OK button is clicked the Inductor is placed on the schematic
diagram. If the Close button is clicked the Component Library form
closes with no changes to the schematic diagram.
