Interference Variables
The actual induced current and voltage at the electronic
circuit is a function of numerous variables, including the impedance of the
circuits at both ends of the conductor, the conductor length, conductor cross
section, circuit balance, conductor height above ground, field strength, field
polarization, shield construction, shield termination, and several other
factors. Once the noise enters the electronic circuit it may degrade its
performance, or even cause damage if the induced levels are sufficiently
large.
