Open Circuit, Short Circuit Components
The Component Library provides components that represent an
open circuit or a short circuit. The Open Circuit component is available
for shunt schematic diagram components, and the Short Circuit component is
available for series schematic diagram components. Computationally, the
open circuit and short circuit components are treated as ideal resistors.
The default values are 1012 ohms for the open circuit and
10-6 for the short circuit. These values may be changed,
subject to the limitations specified in Component Values. More:
