Placeholder Components

The dotted lines in the schematic diagram indicate placeholders for components.  Series placeholders may be considered short circuits.  Shunt placeholders may be considered open circuits. 

To hide placeholders select menu View | Placeholder Components.  To show placeholders, again select View | Placeholder Components.
