Radiated Emissions Limits
Regulatory agencies specify limits for maximum allowable . Radiated emissions limits are
generally specified in the frequency domain as maximum allowable electric field
strength at each frequency over a specified range. Field strength is
generally specified in units of /m.
For example, the military helicopter radiated emissions
limit specified in MIL-STD-461E is shown in the following graph. Radiated
emissions must be below the limit line to be compliant with the limit.
