Shielded Single Wire -- Ground Plane
This configuration is applicable to coaxial cables or
individually shielded wires in a circular shield that are routed near a ground
plane.
Height is the distance in meters from the surface of the
ground plane to the center of the shield. Height must be greater than the
shield radius.
Offset is the distance in meters from the center of the
shield to the center of the wire. Coaxial cable has an offset of 0.
Offset must be less than the shield radius minus the wire radius.
Angle θ is the clockwise angle in degrees between a
vertical line that bisects the center of the shield and a line that intersects
the center of the shield and the center of the wire. If the offset is 0
(coaxial cable), Angle θ is ignored. The value for Angle θ must be in the
range 0 to 360, inclusive.
Shield diameter must be greater than wire diameter.
