Short Circuit

The Short Circuit component has constant impedance over frequency.  Electrically, the Short Circuit component behaves as an Ideal Resistor.

The Short Circuit component is available for series schematic diagram components.  The default Short Circuit value is 1E-6 ohms.

To calculate and graph the impedance of the Short Circuit component over the frequency range selected on the Frequency Range form, click the Graph button on the Component Library form toolbar or select menu Tools | Graph.

To change the Short Circuit value, select the present value, enter the desired value, and click the OK button.  When the OK button is clicked the Short Circuit is placed on the schematic diagram.  If the Close button is clicked the Component Library form closes with no changes to the schematic diagram.
