Stripline Inductance Model
Inductance of the loop bounded by the center conductor and ground planes is:
InductanceWideStriplineFormula

strpline-narow-for
Units: Henries

Description
The inductance calculated using this tool is the inductance of the loop bounded by the flat conductor and the ground planes above and below the conductor.

Assumptions and Limitations
Dimensions are in meters.
Ground planes are assumed to be perfectly conducting and of infinite extent.
Conductor is assumed to have zero thickness and to be uniformly spaced equidistantly between the ground planes.
Conductor and ground plane are assumed to be separated by a homogeneous medium having permittivity e=e0er and permeability u=u0.

Constants
Permeability of free space: Formula, Permeability of Free Space H/m
Permittivity of air: Formula, Permittivity of Air F/m
Speed of light in a vacuum: Formula, Speed of Light in Vacuum m/s
